Beautiful property in the heart of Derry. We stopped our car out front to unload our bags and walked into reception. It was so easy! The concierge took our keys and parked our car for us in a parking area where the car stayed for two days. It cost 16 Euros per day for the service - which we were very happy to pay. The hotel is gorgeous and so accessible to the many walks, parks, pubs, cafes, etc. The rooms are surprisingly quite modern and very nicely decorated - we were very happy to discover the property also had a lift. The staff were excellent, Donna at breakfast was a standout! On a drizzly day, the concierge loaned us a big umbrella, and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around the walls of the city. I highly recommend this property.

I liked the friendly staff especially those on reception. The food was excellent and breakfast selection was very good. Room itself was spotless.

Lovely hotel and well located in a quiet street. Junior suite was extremely comfortable and the extra space in the living room was great for chilling out. Brilliant shower. Great evening meal and breakfast had decent, flexible choice which was well cooked. Cocktails were expertly made and were a pleasure to drink. The staff were fantastic. Particularly Kaysi and Stephanie on reception, who gave us great advice on things to do, where to eat and drink and were so nice to talk to. We had a brilliant time in Derry, which is a great place to visit. Undoubtedly, Bishop's Gate hotel and its staff made a huge contribution to our enjoyment. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Patrick and the staff were outstanding. They went out of their way to take such good care of us and make us feel welcome. They were the most accommodating staff out of any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We just want to say Thank you again for your kind hospitality. The apartment was comfortable and so lovely. It was conveniently located. We also enjoyed the breakfast selection in the onsite restaurant. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back again someday.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms and beds are comfortable, the facilities are top class, the location is perfect. However, it is the service which makes this hotel exceptional. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, and go over and beyond to make your stay memorable. I left a valuable item in my room after check out, and it arrived on my doorstep in England by lunchtime the following day. So grateful to everyone who helped. We will definitely be back.

The location is excellent, very close to everything and Derry is a small city so easy to get around by foot to everything. The staff were wonderful, helpful, charming and friendly. Great communications throughout the stay. The rooms are lovely clean and fresh.

This hotel is amazing. Our room was amazing. Food was amazing. Service was amazing. The staff were amazing. This is one of the best hotel experiences I've had in many years. We stayed for three nights, bed & breakast. On the second night, I hosted a very special dinner for friends in a private room. The food, the service and the atmos was all perfect. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, within the actual city walls. Everything in this beautiful historic city is within walking distance. There are loads of great bars to go to but the hotel bar is great too - they've got a very tempting cocktail list. If you are staying in Derry, stay at Bishops Gate Hotel. You won't regret it. It's ... amazing!

Excellent location inside the walls. Valet parking was easy and efficient. We got upgraded to a penthouse suite with a living room, library and separate bedroom. What a nice surprise on checking in. Staff was extremely friendly and morning included breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Had breakfast every morning of our stay was wonderful! Was meant to get married in bishops gate but pandemic hit so sadly couldn't!! Been staying as often as possible in this beautiful hotel when ever we get over since then! I really don't think I would stop anywhere else now and we've booked a good few places over the years!! Bishop Gate hotel is my happy place!! Staff are wonderful and they make you feel like your the only people in the hotel they have to look after!!. I would recommend to everyone!
